Solid 5 star here at Amigo Juan's Mexican Cafe. My waitress, Kailey, was very polite and professional. Very sweet. The tamales were so flavorful, the tostada was probably the best I ever had but the real treat was the flan I ordered for dessert. I will surely return to this little gem. Great job! God bless you all.

Amazing food!! I have never had any problems with food, service, or quality!! Our family of 5 absolutely loves every location!! Unbeatable, 5 🌟 white queso in Arkansas or Texas!! They have a wide variety of plates that include chicken straps, cheese burgers, etc for those picky 3-10 year olds that may not want typical things from Mexican Restraunt. Absolutely can't suggest everyone to at least try any location once!! 5 🌟

The food was exceptionally good. The atmosphere is amazing. We were seated immediately but the only thing I can say is our server was very rude. She didn’t check on us and rushed us out of the restaurant trying to get us to pay our bill while we were right in the middle of our dinner. I didn’t want to leave a negative review in any way. I even made a comment about it to the cashier and she thought it was funny. I wasn’t laughing. I drove from Texarkana to Hope to eat here. We enjoyed the food but customer service is awful. We definitely won’t make a 30 minute trip again for horrible service no matter how good the food is!

Very good! I ordered the chicken fajitas for takeout and it was just the right amount of chicken with the onions and peppers. I also liked how the sides were convenient in the same container. More

This is a really really great place to grab a bite, especially if you're on the highway. Bright, fun decor, and the food was good, the staff was alright not great. Would be a five star but the rice was over cooked on the taco dish, and the wait staff was very slow and inattentive. They would rather gab in the back looking at us. That being so, our wait person was very friendly and nice when we did see her. I would go again.

Small town Tex-Mex, decent spot.
TL:DR
Very friendly service and great atmosphere, but don't expect to be blown away by the food. Get the white queso dip and avoid the desserts and you'll enjoy the trip!
Details:
Came here on a business trip through town, and we were told this was the best Mexican around. I think with all the recommendations, I set my sights a little too high.
The server and all the staff were friendly, particularly one of the owners who gave us some good recommendations on food.
The white queso was much better than average, thicker than your typical tex-mex, and great flavor.
The salsa, red and green, were just okay. The rest of the food was on par with any tex-mex in the south - nothing special, but definitely edible.
I think my biggest disappointment was the flan. It tasted like it had been frozen and was not quite finished thawing, and the flavor was just not as rich as I expect in flan.
Overall, definitely a decent spot, just don't set your sights too high and you will be fine.

Had lunch here and tried something new called a Border Salad. My favorite part was the grilled shrimp! There was Lettuce, tomato, tortilla chip strips and cheese, grilled shrimp, grilled chicken, rice, guacamole, and sour cream. The rice was in a chip bowl. So was the sour cream and guacamole.

Ordered from here before going to work. Should have checked my food. Spent $23 on a burrito with beans and rice but when I got to work it was only a burrito in the plate. I called back and the woman was very rude then hung up on me. More

I ordered street style brisket tacos, with rice and charro beans and spicy salsa - fantastic! The chips and red & green salsas were great. Got a small side of white queso to go with everything. Over all wonderful food. A bit pricey with a soft drink at $20 and change! Service was great!

This is a great place if you want something quick to eat while traveling and you don't want fast food.
The service was excellent and the food came out very quickly. I had enchiladas with rice and beans and they tasted very good. I did not like either the green or red salsa, but the cheese dip was great.
The floors were a little wet, and the bathrooms were not well stocked, but it overall felt clean.

Waitress was very friendly and the atmosphere was great. Very colorful and fun. Brought a large bowl it tortilla chips and three different bowls, two red sauces and one verde. Tasted more like tomato sauce than anything. Not very flavorful and very little cilantro. The food was very good Dos amigos was very good. Chicken and shrimp was cooked very well. Husband had a ground beef burrito which was bland to him. It was a very friendly place though.
